Saturday Lunch Club

For a potential member this was a great introduction to a relaxed event and a selection of IVC members. I had already met Heather (the host) so walking up to a table of strangers and taking a seat was less daunting. The food was good and the conversation bounced along. Two hours flew by during which members told me about the various IVC events and reassured me that I was not too old to join! Some people dropped in for a quick coffee and chat and I got a real sense of the IVC community. I intend to join, if you'll have me, and look forward to organising events and becoming involved.
