York Wall Walk in April

On a fresh, sunny day the walk is invigorating. We fully intended to complete the whole thing. The host (me) however, complained that one of her hips had worn out and insisted, about 3/4s way round the wall, that the group take time out for refreshments. A few hours later while tucking into tasty food in Brigantes, the group was joined by the club comedians, Paul Acton and Roger Dickinson. They only came along to steal the chips. The host, through a haze of alcohol, suddenly saw a new career for herself managing Paul, as a stand up, or maybe sit-down comedian! His comic talent being immense. The group moved on to the Maltings where they were accosted by tourists insisting that they take photos of them gurning... Then Paul and Martin broke into a spontaneous comedy routine to add to the frivolity. The evening may have ended in the Wonky Donkey, but I am not too sure as I felt very very very drunk and excused myself. Does anyone fancy the Wall of Drink Walk later in the year? Gary M heartily recommends this. Failing that the Cheapskate Night with Paul and Steve sounds like a must...
